Town Hall FL District 3
We are requesting our US Rep talk to her constituents in FL district 3. We’ve invited our Rep and hope she shows up but so far there’s not been a reply. We are moving ahead so we can hear from the locals and gain their perspectives on the impact of the current administration policies on their lives. Those stories will be gathered and sent to our Rep if she doesn’t show up.
In Gainesville, FL, community members are eager to share their thoughts at an upcoming town hall meeting. This initiative aims to ensure that their voices are heard by Rep. Kat Cammack, who has been invited to participate but has yet to confirm her attendance. The event is scheduled for April 25 at Upper Room Ministries, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Through this platform, constituents can communicate their concerns and experiences regarding the impact of current government policies on their daily lives. The stories and insights gathered will be documented and sent to the representative even if she does not attend. This grassroots effort exemplifies how local communities can mobilize to demand accountability from elected officials and foster open dialogue on important issues. As citizens express their hopes for better engagement, the message is clear: discussion is critical for democracy. Ensuring that elected officials, like Rep. Cammack, are present at these gatherings is essential for understanding the community's needs. Residents are encouraged to participate and voice their opinions, underlining the importance of dialogue between constituents and their representatives.
