Many people come for the gorge, but there’s so much more to explore in the area! During my exploration, I also discovered the 'DAM OVERLOOK.' It offers a different, but equally beautiful, perspective of the flowing water and surrounding lush green trees. And for a truly serene experience, I stumbled upon 'DEWEY'S MILL POND.' It was such a peaceful spot, with lily pads and water lilies decorating the surface under a clear blue sky. It’s a perfect place for a quiet moment or an impromptu picnic. When planning your trip, consider wearing comfortable shoes for the trails, even the easier ones. Also, remember to bring water, especially if you plan on spending a few hours exploring. The aerial views you see in pictures really don't do justice to the scale and beauty of this Vermont gem.
