Learning to use manual mode on a Canon camera has truly transformed my photography experience. Manual mode lets you take full control over settings like shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, allowing you to creatively capture moments exactly as you envision them. After a refreshing rain, the lighting and atmosphere change dramatically, offering unique photo opportunities that manual mode helps you optimize. For example, adjusting the aperture to f/4-5.6 on my Canon 58mm lens allowed me to achieve a beautiful balance between depth of field and sharpness. This setting gave my nature photos a pleasing background blur (bokeh) that emphasizes the subject.
