Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey
🍞Just A Little Daily Bread…🍞
Some days feel like shifting sand.
Emotions rise…
Opinions swirl…
Circumstances change without warning…
But truth…
Truth does not move!!
When the wind blows hard against your faith…
When disappointment tries to shake your confidence…
When fear whispers louder than faith…
God’s truth stands firm! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
It is not dependent on how you feel.
It is not shaken by what you see.
It is not altered by what others say.
His Word is the steady ground beneath your feet.
When life feels unstable, anchor yourself to what is unchanging:
Isaiah 40:8 ~
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”
Forever means on your best days.
Forever means on your hardest days.
Forever means when the answer hasn’t come yet.
Truth holds you steady because Truth has a name — and He has never failed!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Let today be the day you stand firm, not because everything around you is steady…
…but because the Word within you is!
Let Us Pray…
Lord, when my emotions try to lead me and my circumstances try to define me, anchor me in Your truth. Let Your Word be the firm foundation beneath my feet. Help me stand steady in You today. Amen!!

In my own journey of faith, I've often encountered moments when everything around me seemed to be in flux — emotions swirling like shifting sand, circumstances changing without notice, and fears creeping in to overshadow hope. During such times, I've found immense comfort and stability in grounding myself in the unchanging truth of Scripture. Isaiah 40:8 reminds us, "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever." This verse has become a personal anchor. When life feels unstable, I actively choose to focus not on what I feel or see around me, but on the steadfast promises of God’s Word. It’s a daily practice: reading Scripture, meditating on its meaning, and allowing it to reshape my perspective and emotions. One practical way I maintain this steady footing is by starting my day with a moment of prayer and reflection, asking God to root me firmly in His truth, no matter the day's challenges. When disappointment tries to shake my confidence or fear feels overwhelming, I remind myself that these feelings are temporary, but God's Word remains strong and reliable. Moreover, surrounding myself with a supportive community that shares this faith journey adds another layer of assurance. Sharing experiences and encouragement with others helps me remember that the Word within us is the ultimate source of strength, transcending all external changes. This approach doesn’t mean life becomes perfect or free from hardship, but it ensures that I am not defined by those hardships. Instead, I am steadied and empowered by the enduring, unshakable truth that God’s promises are forever. This steady truth holds me even on my hardest days and when answers seem delayed. I encourage anyone feeling unsteady today to take a moment to anchor themselves in that same truth. Let God’s Word be the firm foundation beneath your feet, enabling you to stand firm regardless of the shifting sands beneath you.
