Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey
🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞
There’s something heavy about carrying yesterday.
Old mistakes.
Old shame.
Old labels.
Old versions of ourselves.
The enemy loves to whisper, “Remember who you used to be?”
But Jesus gently says, “Remember who you are now.”
When Christ forgives, He doesn’t partially cleanse.
He doesn’t forgive and then keep a record “just in case.”
He doesn’t hold your past over your head.
He removes it!
Psalm 103:12 ~
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
East and west never meet. That’s not accidental. That’s intentional freedom.
If God has removed it, why are you still rehearsing it!?
If the cross covered it, why are you still carrying it!?
Friend… you are not the worst thing you’ve done.
You are not your lowest moment.
You are not the chapter that almost broke you.
You are redeemed.
You are restored.
You are fully forgiven! 🙌🏼
And because you are fully forgiven…
You are fully free! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Walk lighter today.
Lift your head today.
Smile knowing heaven is not disappointed in you.
Grace didn’t just save you.
Grace released you!! 🙌🏼
Jesus,
Thank You for not holding my past against me. Thank You for the cross that covered every sin, every failure, and every regret. Help me stop carrying what You’ve already removed. Teach me to walk in the freedom You’ve given me. I receive Your forgiveness today… fully and completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen!!

Living with the weight of past mistakes and regrets can often feel overwhelming, but embracing the message of complete forgiveness truly transforms our daily lives. From my own experience, the hardest step is often to stop replaying old failures in our minds, especially when they have defined us for so long. However, reflecting on Psalm 103:12 has been a source of profound comfort and liberation. The imagery of God removing our transgressions "as far as the east is from the west" reminds me that forgiveness is not partial; it is total and intentional. One practical way to walk in this freedom is to actively renew your mindset through daily affirmations of God's grace, reminding yourself, "I am redeemed. I am restored. I am fully forgiven." Such declarations help shift focus away from shame and toward identity in Christ. Additionally, engaging with a supportive community, like the #pullupachair or #comeasyouare groups, provides connection with others on similar faith journeys, reinforcing that none of us walk alone. Faith is not about perfection but about release and renewal — letting go of what no longer defines us and stepping forward lighter and freer. This internal freedom often reflects externally as increased joy and confidence in everyday interactions. As grace releases us, we find ourselves walking lighter, holding our heads higher, and smiling with the assurance that heaven holds no disappointment for us. For anyone struggling to let go of their past, remember: forgiveness through Jesus is complete. It does not keep score or hold grudges. Instead, it clears the spiritual slate entirely, inviting us into restoration and a new chapter filled with hope and purpose. Embracing this truth can help you break free from repeated cycles of shame and regret, allowing your faith to flourish and your spirit to thrive. Let today be a new beginning where grace doesn't just save you but truly releases you into the full freedom God desires for you.

Amen 🙏 🙏
