Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

Sometimes the breakthrough doesn’t require a new door.
It requires a new direction! 🙌🏼
There are moments in life when we’ve been pushing, striving, praying, and wondering why nothing seems to move. We keep facing the same wall… the same disappointment… the same frustration.
But what if today isn’t about pushing forward?
What if today is about turning around?
In Scripture, “repent” literally means to change direction. To turn. To pivot. To realign.
And here’s the beautiful part… when we turn toward Him, He’s already there!
Maybe…
• You’ve been focusing on what’s not working.
• You’ve been staring at what you lost.
• You’ve been waiting for someone else to change first.
But today, God may be whispering…
“Turn around. I’m doing a new thing.”
Sometimes your miracle isn’t in front of you.
It’s behind you.
It’s beside you.
It’s in a surrendered heart.
Isaiah 43:18-19 reminds us…
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Your turnaround isn’t punishment.
It’s positioning!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
God can turn…
• mourning into dancing
• lack into provision
• fear into faith
• setbacks into setups
And He can do it suddenly.
🤍 Today is not stuck.
🤍 Today is not wasted.
🤍 Today is a turning point.
If you feel like you’ve been walking in circles… pause, breathe, and turn toward Him again.
Because when you turn toward Jesus…
everything begins to turn around.
🤍🤍 What is God asking you to turn away from… or turn toward… today? 🤍🤍
Lord, if I’ve been looking in the wrong direction, gently turn my heart back toward You. Help me release what was and trust what You’re doing now. Realign my thoughts, my focus, and my faith. I believe You are working even when I don’t see it. Turn this situation for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen!!

Life often presents moments when our efforts seem stalled despite persistent striving and prayer. I've experienced times when pushing forward felt futile, and the same obstacles and frustrations kept appearing. What helped me the most was learning that sometimes, the breakthrough isn't found by forcing a new path but by changing the direction we're facing. This aligns with the biblical idea of repentance—not as punishment, but as a meaningful turn toward God. Reflecting on Isaiah 43:18-19, I realized how important it is to let go of the past's disappointments and to be open to the new things God is doing. Often, what feels like setbacks can become setups for something greater when we surrender our hearts and shift our focus. For example, instead of concentrating on what’s lost or broken, turning to gratitude and faith opened doors I hadn’t noticed before. Turning around spiritually has helped me transform fear into faith and scarcity into provision. It required patience and trust that God’s work is underway even if invisible initially. When you feel stuck or caught in a cycle, pausing to intentionally redirect your thoughts and prayers toward God can bring refreshing clarity and peace. This turning does not mean giving up; rather, it's about repositioning ourselves to receive God's grace and new opportunities. Whether your challenge is a personal struggle or a stalled dream, consider this: sometimes the miracle you seek is found by simply turning around and embracing God's presence right beside you. Embrace this turning point as a gift, trusting that God is already at work, transforming your life step by step.
