Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
There are days when strength doesn’t look like standing tall…
It looks like simply standing at all.
It’s the quiet breath you take when everything in you feels weary.
It’s choosing to keep going when your heart feels heavy.
It’s whispering “Lord, help me” when you don’t have the energy for anything more.
But here’s the beautiful truth…
Your strength was never meant to come from you.
The world tells us to “be strong,”
to push harder, try more, carry it all.
But God gently reminds us…
you don’t have to carry what I already died to hold.
His joy isn’t based on circumstances.
It isn’t shaken by bad days, hard seasons, or unanswered questions.
His joy is rooted in who He is…
faithful, present, unchanging.
And when you lean into Him…
that joy becomes your strength.
Not a loud, temporary strength…
but a steady, sustaining, soul-deep strength that holds you together when everything else feels like it’s falling apart.
So today, if you feel tired…
if your spirit feels stretched thin…
Don’t strive for strength.
Receive His joy! 🙌🏼
Because His joy will carry you
when your own strength runs out.
Lord,
Thank You that I don’t have to do this on my own.
When I feel weak, remind me that Your joy is my strength.
Fill my heart with Your peace, even when life feels heavy.
Help me to rest in You instead of striving.
Let Your joy rise up in me today and carry me through.
