The Father’s Heart

~ The Holy Bible ~

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”

Not every father is perfect.

Some of us were blessed with fathers who loved, protected, and guided us.

Some of us miss our fathers dearly.

Some carry wounds from fathers who weren’t able to be what they needed.

And some men have stepped into fatherly roles without ever sharing the same last name or DNA.

Today, we honor the men who have planted seeds of faith, love, wisdom, strength, and encouragement into the lives of others.

But most of all, we celebrate the One Father who never leaves, never fails, and never stops loving His children.

No matter what your earthly father story looks like, you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father.

Happy Father’s Day to every dad, granddad, stepdad, spiritual father, mentor, and father figure who continues planting mustard seeds of faith that will grow for generations! 🤍🩵🤍

... Read moreFather's Day is a special time to reflect on the unique role fathers and father figures play in our lives. From biological fathers to mentors, grandfathers, stepdads, and spiritual fathers, each contributes to planting seeds of faith and love that nurture our growth. Personally, I find the metaphor of the mustard seed profoundly moving. A tiny seed grows into a large tree, offering shelter and sustenance—much like the small but impactful actions and teachings of a father. Even imperfect fathers leave marks of wisdom and strength that resonate through generations. The scripture from 1 John 3:1, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” reminds me that regardless of my earthly experience, the Heavenly Father's unconditional love is constant and unfailing. This truth has brought immense comfort during times when my own father was far away or absent. Many men have stepped into fatherly roles without sharing DNA, embodying integrity and love that reflect Proverbs 20:7: “The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.” These men plant seeds of faith and encouragement, forming pillars in the community and shaping lives through their example. Breaking bread together, both literally and figuratively, creates bonds that mirror the nurturing nature of God’s love. Acts of kindness, guidance, and prayerful support help grow these seeds into flourishing faith that transcends hardships. On this Father’s Day, let us honor all these loving figures and remember that faith and family extend beyond biology. The mustard seed faith they plant continues to grow and inspire hope, love, and strength in us and the generations to come.
