🍪 DID SOMEONE SAY…… COOKIESSSS 🍪

Did you know you can make all these different types of cookies with just 1 batter?

I have been obsessed with trying to find the perfect cookie dough base that can be manipulated into multiple different flavors!

The flavors made were:

⭐️ Triple Chocolate (stuffed with brownies and drizzled with Nutella

⭐️ Peanut Butter Chocolate (stuffed with Reese’s peanut butter and topped with Reese’s)

⭐️ Cookies N Cream (stuffed with Oreos and topped with Hershey’s cookies n cream chocolate)

⭐️ S’mores (stuffed with graham cracker and topped with marshmallow)

I am working on a book to give the best cookie dough base and how to calculate the perfect amount for mix ins to give you the best cookies!!!!

... Read moreSince I'm always looking for that perfect, versatile cookie dough, I've learned a lot about what makes a base truly dependable, especially when baking for my loved ones! It's all about finding something easy that you can adapt for any occasion, whether it's a big family gathering or just a sweet treat for friends. When I'm creating a cookie dough that needs to do it all, I focus on a few key things: Texture Foundation: You want a dough that bakes up consistently. Not too crumbly, not too chewy, but just right. This means balancing wet and dry ingredients carefully. My goal is always a cookie that holds its shape but still melts in your mouth! When I see a beautiful variety of homemade cookies cooling on a rack, I know the texture is spot on. Neutral Flavor Profile: The base shouldn't overpower your mix-ins. A good vanilla and a hint of salt are usually all you need to create a blank canvas for all those amazing flavors like chocolate, peanut butter, or even fruit. This allows your chocolate drizzled or peanut butter chocolate cookies to shine! Versatility & Adaptability: This is crucial! Can it handle being stuffed with Oreos or Graham Crackers? Will it hold up to chocolate chips, nuts, or even a drizzle of Nutella after baking? The dough needs to be robust enough to take on various additions without falling apart or drying out, making it perfect for different flavors from one batter. Ease of Handling: Nobody wants a sticky mess! A dough that comes together easily, chills well, and scoops without drama is a winner in my book. This makes the whole baking process so much more enjoyable, especially when you're making a big batch for family meals. Speaking of ingredients, I truly believe that using good quality stuff makes all the difference in homemade cookies: Butter: Real butter, unsalted, is my go-to. It gives that rich, classic cookie flavor and helps with texture. Flour: All-purpose flour is usually fine, but sometimes I experiment with a mix of cake flour for a softer crumb, depending on the cookie I'm aiming for. Sugars: A mix of granulated and brown sugar is key for chewiness and depth of flavor. Brown sugar brings moisture and a molasses note that's just delicious. Vanilla Extract: Don't skimp here! A good quality vanilla can elevate your cookies immensely. Eggs: Fresh, large eggs bind everything together and add richness. These simple, high-quality ingredients are the building blocks for creating incredible homemade treats. Beyond stuffing, there are so many ways to create different flavors from one batter! It's how I get that amazing variety of homemade cookies, like the cookies n cream with Oreos or the s'mores with marshmallows, sometimes even with pink frosting or white heart-shaped toppings! Toppings: Think beyond the initial bake. Once they're out of the oven and cooling, you can add glazes, drizzles (like that Nutella drizzle on my Triple Chocolate cookies!), sprinkles, or even a dusting of powdered sugar. Extracts & Zests: Add a teaspoon of almond extract, lemon zest, or orange zest to a portion of your dough for a completely different profile. Chocolate Types: Instead of just milk chocolate, try white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, or even a mix! This is great for making those peanut butter chocolate varieties. Spices: A pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, or even a touch of cardamom can transform your plain dough into something warm and comforting. You'd be amazed at how a simple addition can turn one base into an endless array of delicious treats for any occasion!
