As a mom of 4 kids ( 9,6,4 & 18 months) I literally run on little to no time during the days, so I decided to make every Monday a weekly prep day!
During the week I prep a few things that help my family run smooth;
⭐️Fruit Cups
⭐️ Mini Snack Containers ( I do about 20 per week which is about 5 per each kid)
⭐️ Snack Bento Boxes (these I make for me and my husband )
⭐️ Homemade Uncrustables
⭐️ Chopped Up Fruit ( any fruit in my house I bring home I try to prep so that way we are more likely to eat it

What do you prep to help with your weekly load?
Preparing snacks ahead of time is essential for any busy mom, particularly those juggling multiple children. By setting aside time each week to prep items such as fruit cups, mini snack containers, and healthy bento boxes, parents can streamline their daily routines and ensure kids have nutritious options available. Here are a few additional strategies to consider during your prep sessions: 1. **Involve the Kids**: Involve your children in the snack preparation process. Let them help sort and pack snacks, fostering a sense of responsibility and encouraging healthy eating habits. 2. **Use Versatile Ingredients**: Choose snacks that can be easily diversified with different fruits, dips, or toppings, such as yogurt with granola or peanut butter with apple slices. 3. **Batch Cooking**: Designate a day to batch cook a few healthy snacks. For example, homemade granola bars or energy bites can be made in large quantities and stored for later use. 4. **Healthy Freezer Options**: Consider prepping snacks that can be frozen. Smoothie packs, homemade pizza bites, or veggie muffins can be prepared in batches and stored for those hectic days when fresh snacks aren't an option. 5. **Snack Schedule**: Develop a snack schedule or chart that the kids can refer to during the week. This will help them know what to expect and can encourage them to eat their planned snacks rather than reaching for less healthy options. By implementing these strategies, you can create a structured and health-conscious environment at home, ensuring that your children stay satisfied and energized throughout the week. With a little planning and preparation, navigating the busy life of a mom with four kids can become more manageable.
