If you're looking to elevate the classic banana pudding, this recipe offers a delicious twist by incorporating a subtle hint of ground cinnamon into the pudding base, which perfectly complements the sweetness of ripe bananas and vanilla wafers. The addition of a cream cheese layer whipped together with heavy cream and powdered sugar adds a luxurious texture and tangy depth that goes beyond the traditional versions. Using sweetened condensed milk alongside instant vanilla pudding mix and whole milk creates an irresistibly rich and velvety cream that sets the foundation for this dessert. When assembling, alternating layers of vanilla wafers and banana slices ensure every spoonful combines a delightful crunch with fresh fruity flavor. Sprinkling crushed biscoff cookies and drizzling biscoff sauce on top introduces a spiced caramel note and extra crunch, enhancing the overall taste experience. For the best results, chill your assembled banana pudding for at least four hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the pudding to set to a luscious consistency. This makes it an excellent make-ahead dessert for holiday gatherings or celebrations. You can customize this recipe further by experimenting with cookie varieties such as chessman butter cookies for a buttery crunch or adding a touch of nutmeg to the pudding mix for extra warmth.
