Every Sunday I prep my fridge to be prepared for the week! I am a SAHM of 4 kids and when the afternoon hits my kids are always “starving” so I started prepping this healthy snacks to hold my kids down until I prep and serve dinner!
What hacks do you do to help meal plan for your week?
As a stay-at-home mom of four, I completely relate to the afternoon hunger struggle. Over time, I’ve learned that prepping a variety of healthy snacks every Sunday really helps keep my kids happy and energized throughout the week. Including snacks like homemade ranch carrots adds a flavorful veggie option that kids actually enjoy, while chocolate-covered pretzels paired with grapes offer a fun balance of sweet and savory. One of my favorite quick prepping hacks is slicing apples and spreading a thin layer of peanut butter on top. It’s not only delicious but also keeps the apples from browning quickly, making it easier to grab and go. Having these ready-to-eat snacks in the fridge saves so much time during busy afternoons and helps avoid the temptation of less nutritious options. If you’re also managing meal prep for kids, consider rotating these snack varieties weekly to keep things exciting. Investing a bit of time on the weekend can make weekday afternoons smoother and more enjoyable. What are your go-to healthy afternoon snacks for kids? Sharing tips can make snack time stress-free for all of us!
