Trying to keep my kids well fed : Breakfast Edition ✨
Mornings with my little ones are always a balancing act to trying to make breakfast fun and actually get them to eat it! 🥰 Today’s lineup: French toast roll ups stuffed with Nutella and strawberries, a slice of French toast loaded with white chocolate, Nutella, strawberries & bananas, cozy bowls of oatmeal, and pancake sausage dippers for a little savory twist. Seeing them dig in and actually enjoy what I make just melts my heart. 💖
Breakfast might not be perfect every day, but seeing them eat makes it all worth it. ✨
Preparing breakfast that kids eagerly eat can be quite the challenge, but adding creative twists really helps keep mornings exciting. One of my favorite go-to recipes is the French toast roll ups stuffed with Nutella and fresh strawberries, which combine sweetness and fruit in a convenient finger-food style my kids love. It’s a great way to sneak in some fruit and satisfy their sweet tooth naturally. For a more indulgent treat, topping French toast with white chocolate, Nutella, strawberries, and bananas creates a colorful and decadent plate that grabs the kids’ attention immediately. These flavor combinations also offer a delightful balance of creamy, fruity, and chocolaty notes that keep breakfast from becoming boring. Oatmeal is a staple for cozy mornings and is so versatile—adding cinnamon, honey, or mixed berries can turn it into a favorite rather than a chore. Plus, it is a wholesome and warming option, especially during colder months. To add a savory element and break up the sweetness, pancake sausage dippers are fantastic. Sausages wrapped with pancakes provide protein and fun, hands-on eating for little ones while awakening their palates with different textures and flavors. Using an oil spray or stick oil helps achieve that perfect golden toast and helps prevent sticking without excess grease—this makes cleanup easier and keeps breakfast healthier. Getting kids involved in simple preparations like rolling French toast or assembling dippers helps them feel proud of their meal and more willing to eat it. While breakfast isn’t always perfect, prioritizing variety and presentation helps maintain appetite and energy for the day, making morning routines smoother and more joyful for both parents and children.

Can I be your kid, too? All of that looks delicious. Great job mom
