HOW OUR RELATIONSHIP IMPROVED
I know people don’t like to talk about money. Why? I’m not sure. We all need it to live. It’s not a secret that not having it causes stress. Nobody wants to be stuck at work 7 days a week. Nobody wants to be away from the people they love or working themselves to the bone. When I started my side hustle I did it for us. Making extra income gave us our time back. No over time. No being away from each other and now we take more time off without the financial stress.
I don’t know about you but the thought of working until 65+ and THEN retiring and enjoying your life is not the life for me. Life is now. Tomorrow isn’t promised.
Yes, I love my nursing career but I’m more than just a nurse. We love to travel in the USA with our RV and we love to leave the country. We love to go boating. We love to help family. We get to do that without the financial stress. That’s what my side hustle did for me. So when you see me post that I made $500 a day or $1000 a day don’t take it as showing off. I’m not. I’m nothing special. Just a regular person who decided to try something new and stop settling for crumbs.
Abundance is out here for all of us, but it’s not going to come knocking on your door. You’ve got to be courageous and try new things. Learn!
I share a lot on my page but if you want to chat or get info about what info you can comment PASSIVE or send me a message!

It’s incredible how much a side hustle can redefine not just your finances, but the entire dynamic of your relationship. When my partner and I first considered diving into a side hustle, our main goal was to ease financial pressure. We quickly realized, though, that the true meaning of this endeavor for 'us' wasn't just about earning extra cash. It was about reclaiming something far more precious: our time together and the freedom to live life on our own terms. For many couples, money is a huge source of stress, and I can totally relate to that. But what if a side hustle could actually improve your relationship? It starts with clear communication. Before we even picked a venture, we sat down and talked honestly about what we both wanted. Was it more travel? Early retirement? Simply reducing the daily grind? Setting these shared goals made the journey feel like a team effort, not another burden. We looked for a side hustle that aligned with our mutual interests or skill sets, something we could even work on together sometimes, making it feel less like 'work' and more like a shared project. The biggest takeaway for us was understanding that a side hustle isn’t just about individual gain; it’s about collective well-being. It’s about building a future where you’re not just working for the weekend, but actively designing a life you love, *together*. This means being intentional about protecting your couple time. Even with a new project demanding attention, we made sure to schedule regular date nights or simply carve out evenings where work talk was off-limits. It’s a delicate balance, but one that’s absolutely worth it for the long-term benefits. One of the most powerful changes came from the sense of empowerment we felt. Knowing we had an additional income stream meant less worrying about unexpected expenses and more opportunities to say 'yes' to experiences, like those spontaneous RV trips or international adventures we always dreamed of. It lifted a significant weight, allowing us to focus on each other and our shared joys rather than constant financial anxieties. This newfound freedom truly strengthened our bond. If you’re considering a side hustle with your partner, my advice is to think beyond just the dollar signs. What kind of life do you want to build together? How can a side hustle serve as a tool to achieve that vision? It’s about creating an abundance that extends beyond your bank account – an abundance of time, experiences, and a deeper connection with the person you love. It won't always be easy, and there will be learning curves, but the journey toward financial freedom and a more fulfilling life as a couple can be incredibly rewarding. Remember, nothing is more precious than the quality time you get to spend with your loved ones, and a well-chosen side hustle can give you exactly that back.
