Thank a nurse! ♥️🫶🏻

It’s May that means we are rolling into nurses week/nurses month!

I’ve been a nurse for 6 years! I’ve learned so much as a nurse and as a person. Ive met some great people! I’ve cried a lot! It’s been very rewarding, but it also takes a lot of ya!

If you know a nurse! Thank them! They leave their families so they can go care for yours! Most days we don’t eat, we don’t sit, we can’t go pee for hours..

it’s hard to not get attached to patients or cry with them because we are human! 😭♥️

If anyone is wondering I’m accepting gifts ! I’m a size window seat on delta airlines 🤣🤣👏👏 I’m not picky!

No but seriously if you’re a nurse or in the process of becoming one you are a BADA$$!!!!! 👏👏

Happy nurses week & nurses month!!

... Read moreNurses Week is a vital time to recognize the dedication of nurses who tirelessly care for patients while often sacrificing their own needs. During this week, healthcare facilities across the nation organize events to celebrate nursing staff, emphasizing the significance of their role within the medical community. From providing essential care to undergoing long hours, nurses maintain a commitment to patient well-being, which should not go unnoticed. Sharing personal stories of nurses' experiences helps to highlight their resilience and compassion. Engaging in community appreciation events, such as thank-you notes, gifts, or hosting potlucks, can foster a deeper connection between nurses and their communities. Moreover, the increasing demands on nurses have spotlighted the importance of mental health awareness within the profession. Many nurses face burnout and emotional distress due to the intense nature of their work, especially during health crises. Supporting nurses’ mental health through open discussions and resources is essential to ensure they can continue providing top-notch care. Let’s not forget to advocate for policy changes to improve working conditions for nurses, ensuring their vital role in healthcare is well supported. This Nurses Week, take a moment to appreciate the invaluable contributions of nurses and promote a culture of gratitude and support.
