I'll go first: 5/6 years ago I meet a gentleman who forges knives. I commissioned him to make the perfect gift for my brother in law. He cooks for fun and so I had my friend forge him a chefs knife. It turned out beautifully with a rich blue resin and Suguaro Wood (dried cactus) handle. I think it was the best gift I have even gotten him and admittedly won't be able to top. We'll until this year when I made him and uncle and his brother a father I think that *might* top the knife.
