Having watched all three movies in the "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" trilogy multiple times, I can genuinely say they capture the nostalgic yet complex experience of teenage love and growth beautifully. Lara Jean's character development from a shy, secretive girl to a confident young woman navigating real relationships resonated with me deeply. The first movie introduces us to the dramatic and hilarious situation of Lara Jean’s secret love letters being mailed out, an event that flips her quiet high school life upside down. The dynamics between Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky, initially a fake dating arrangement, evolve naturally into something heartfelt and genuine. What I appreciated most was how the film balanced humor with moments of vulnerability, giving a fresh take on typical teen romance films. As the series progresses, the second movie dives into more complicated emotional territory, especially with the reappearance of an old crush. It's relatable to see how feelings can become complicated even when things seem perfect—something I personally experienced during my own high school years. i had to give up the sport i loved because i couldn’t mentally take it anymore. i had one coach that made my softball career worth it. the day he left the team destroyed me. i had an awful tournament experience before him and after him. i don’t even wanna get into the high school or college stuff.
