Love Iced Shaken Espresso? TRY THIS CHEAPER!

The past 6 months the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso has had me in a chokehold! Once a week I would treat myself to it because it was nearly $9 😭! For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been trying to replicate the flavor, but cheaper. I do make this most days at home, and it’s delicious (I’m make a post in the future on how I do it). But, being that I have two toddlers, making it everyday doesn’t happen.

The times I’ve tried making this before only consisted of syrups, and it barely sweet. One time I tried it with 2 pumps brown sugar and 1 cinnamon caramel, and it wasn’t sweet at all. The next I tried 3 pumps brown sugar and 1 cinnamon caramel, and it was mildly sweet. So today I tried white chocolate mocha and it’s perfect! Now, I do think you can get away with one pump with the syrups and it’ll be good.

So, if you love the shaken espresso, try this out and let me know what you think!

Replicating this café favorite at home can be both cost-effective and rewarding. To achieve the best taste, consider the following tips: 1. **Ingredients Matter**: Start with high-quality espresso and fresh oat milk. Using flavored syrups like cinnamon caramel or white chocolate mocha significantly enhances the experience. 2. **Perfect Measurements**: Experiment with the number of syrup pumps to balance sweetness without overwhelming the espresso flavor. Start with one pump and adjust according to your preference. 3. **Foam It Up**: Adding sweet cream cold foam can elevate your drink. You can create this foam by whisking together heavy cream and vanilla extract for an indulgent touch. 4. **Temperature Control**: To achieve that refreshing iced effect, make sure your espresso is chilled before combining it with milk and ice. This prevents dilution and keeps your drink rich and flavorful. By mastering these elements, you can replicate the café experience right in your kitchen and enjoy a delectable iced shaken espresso whenever you desire, all while saving money!
