🌸Evening with a College Student on Spring Break🌸
I have had so much fun during spring break!
This day I dropped off my mom at the airport and then me and my dad decided to go get oysters at this really nice restaurant. Everyone was so nice and it had such a good community feel.
After this, we had enough time to go down to the beach to watch the sunset so we decided to go check out the sunset on the beach and I also was able to grab a couple pictures🥳
So far, I have been loving Florida and I am so sad to leave. I have been getting super tan and having been spending such good quality time with my family.

Wow, reading about your amazing Florida spring break evening totally brings back memories! Florida truly is the ultimate destination for soaking up the sun and making unforgettable memories, especially for college students like us. Every spring break, I look forward to the vibrant atmosphere and endless possibilities the Sunshine State offers. It’s more than just a destination; it’s an experience that refreshes and recharges you before heading back to classes. When I think of Florida, my mind immediately jumps to delicious regional cuisine, and those oysters you mentioned? Pure bliss! Finding a great oyster bar on the coast is absolutely a must-do for any foodie. There’s nothing quite like fresh, briny oysters served on ice with lemon wedges and a side of zesty cocktail sauce after a long, sunny day. It’s an authentic taste of the coast that you just can't replicate anywhere else. But beyond seafood, Florida has so much to offer – from vibrant street food scenes in cities like Miami to cozy, hidden cafes in smaller beach towns. Don't be afraid to venture out and try local specialties; you might just discover your new favorite dish! And let's talk about those sunsets! Oh my goodness. There’s something truly magical about watching the sun dip below the horizon over the ocean waves, painting the sky with incredible hues of orange, pink, and purple. That's true 'beach time' therapy right there, and it’s one of my favorite parts of any Florida spring break. Whether you're just relaxing on the sand, swimming in the warm waters, trying out some paddleboarding, or even just strolling along the shore, the beaches are undeniably the heart of a perfect Florida getaway. I always try to capture a few pictures to remember those serene, breathtaking moments – they make for the best phone backgrounds! Getting around Florida is also part of the adventure, especially if you're exploring different areas. Many of us college students embark on a road trip down, often taking major routes like I-95 which can be a journey in itself, filled with singalongs and snack breaks! Making sure your car is prepped for the trip is key – I remember one time having to quickly clean the windshield with a squeegee at a gas station stop to get a clearer view of the open road as we drove towards the coast. Road trips through Florida offer so many hidden gems if you keep your eyes open for quirky roadside attractions or local eateries. To truly make the most of your Florida spring break, I'd always recommend balancing relaxation with a bit of exploration. Don't forget your high-SPF sunscreen – getting a beautiful tan is great, but nobody wants to spend their evenings dealing with a painful sunburn! Hydration is also super important in the Florida heat. And most importantly, savor that quality time with family or friends. These are the moments we'll look back on and cherish long after the break is over. What other tips do you have for making a Florida spring break truly epic and unforgettable?
