As the year comes to a close, many of us take the opportunity to reflect on our experiences. January began with the innocent infatuation that we often feel in school. By February, that crush was still on my mind, and it became almost an obsession by March. The emotional rollercoaster continued through the months, with each passing week bringing new challenges and realizations. In April, I began to grasp the reality of my feelings amidst the school year's end, and as summer approached in May, I found some relief in the busyness of life. By August, a new crush emerged just as I was preparing to return to school. However, September brought back the familiar face of my old crush, reigniting those feelings I thought I had managed to forget. October was filled with longing and hope, as I started to realize that sometimes, our feelings do not reciprocate as we wish. Finally, November wrapped up the year with lingering thoughts of the boy who defined my heart for most of the year. This yearly reflection illustrates the complexities of young love and the growth that comes with it.
