Help Me Declutter my Makeup
Spoiler alert… I have a shopping problem..🛍️
Some of this makeup has to go!
**Anything with a pink heart 🩷 is my absolute favorite & highly recommend!**
Mascara:
I’m getting rid of the Elf Roller Lash because I’m finding that I really don’t love rubber mascara wands. I have really short lashes and this mascara does nothing for them except make them look wet.
I’m also getting rid of the Bad Gal Bang mascara because it’s soooooo clumpy. I truly don’t know how people are able to use it?? There’s so much product that comes out on the wand. 👎
Lip Liners:
There is 100% a rare beauty eyeliner in this picture.. let’s just agree to ignore that 😂 I meant to put in the rare beauty lip liner that I have, and I’m getting rid of that one because it just doesn’t last on my lips for how expensive it is.
I’m also getting rid of the Essence lip liner because it’s wayyyy too pink and it looks very weird on me.
Lippies:
I’m going to get rid of the Maybelline lifter gloss. It’s really nice, but I never reach for it & have other favorites. I’m also ditching the Sephora lip plumper. It’s such good plumper but it truly hurts😅 I never reach for it because of that sooo it’s gotta go.
That’s all for decluttering today :) Next I need to go through my complexion products! That will be roughhhh. Until next time 🫶🏼

Decluttering your makeup collection can be a liberating experience—letting go of products that no longer serve you opens up space for more treasured items. Start by categorizing your makeup, focusing on items that truly enhance your beauty. Consider factors such as how often you use a product, its formula, and shade compatibility with your skin tone. It's essential to evaluate each item honestly: does it belong in your collection, or has it become a mere clutter? In this process, it's helpful to know the shelf life of cosmetics. Most products have expiration dates, and using them past their prime can lead to skin irritation or less-than-ideal application. For instance, mascara typically lasts about three months, while lip products may last one to two years, depending on their formulation. Besides health considerations, also think about the experience you'll enjoy using your go-to products. Keep favorites that bring you joy and boost your confidence, while letting go of items that are not serving a purpose. Finally, maintain your decluttered makeup space: establish a routine to go through your products every few months. This ensures that your collection remains streamlined while maximizing your beauty journey. Embrace the delightful simplicity of a curated makeup collection that reflects your unique style.
