Back than vs. now kids
growing up back them, you can't be disrespectful to your elders or else that belt going on that ass for even talking back that not even a question about it. what your parents give you ,you appreciate without getting what you want, you have a gift you say thanks or else they are not giving to you at all. some they kids are rotting spoiled and disrespectful to their parents and demanding shit like they were the ones who were working to get them the gifts. I don't blame some of the kids but their parents on what they say to these kids. Your actions proved how your kids 5 turn out. some females be changing menw like they are changing their panties and being disrespectful to some of the men, if your girls see that then they will copy what they see you doing as they get older. you have some mothers out there that don't want to be a mom. Also, you have deadbeat fathers who plan to have kids with these women but are running away from responsibilities. some parents need to stop cursing in front of their kids and you wondering why they are cursing their elders.#parentsdobetter #childselfesteem #parenting /Phoenix
Reflecting on the differences between how children were raised "back then" versus now highlights significant shifts in family dynamics and societal expectations. The image text saying, "I USED TO THINK OUR PARENTS WERE SO STRICT... BUT WATCHING THESE KIDS TODAY, I THINK OUR PARENTS SAVED OUR LIVES," echoes a common sentiment among many adults who grew up with strict discipline. This discipline often involved clear rules, respect for elders, and consequences such as corporal punishment, which underscored the importance of obedience and appreciation for what was provided. Today, parenting styles have evolved alongside cultural and social changes. Some parents adopt a more permissive approach, which sometimes lead to children who may appear less disciplined or more demanding. However, it’s important to understand that these behaviors do not happen in isolation. The example set by parents—whether it involves respecting elders, managing responsibilities, or handling relationships—directly influences children's development. For instance, when parents demonstrate respect and stability, children are more likely to emulate positive behavior. Additionally, the concerns raised about deadbeat fathers and mothers unwilling to fully embrace their parenting roles highlight ongoing challenges many families face. Children raised in unstable environments may struggle with self-esteem and respect for others. Furthermore, the use of profanity in front of children can normalize disrespectful speech, contributing to behavioral issues. Encouraging parenting that balances discipline with understanding, open communication, and modeling respectful behavior is crucial. Programs aimed at empowering parents to improve their skills help foster environments where children appreciate what they have and learn responsibility. Ultimately, the goal is to raise confident, respectful individuals who understand the value of family, hard work, and mutual respect—qualities that some feel were more emphasized in past generations. Parents today can learn from the past while adapting to modern challenges to "do better," as the hashtags #parentsdobetter, #childselfesteem, and #parenting suggest, ensuring the next generation grows up with the right values and self-respect.
