Today’s Message
One of the enemy’s tactics…
is to weaken your spiritual tenacity.
To make prayer feel hard.
To make you feel disconnected.
Because if he can wear you down…
he can pull you away.
But your struggle is not a sign of failure—
it’s a sign that your faith is being tested.
And in that testing…
God is building your endurance.
It's common to face seasons when your spiritual fire feels low, and prayer seems difficult or disconnected. From my own experience, these times are not indicators of failure but moments where your faith is being refined, much like James 1:3 teaches about the testing of faith producing endurance. When I faced such spiritual battles, I found that persisting in prayer—even when it felt like a challenge—helped me build resilience and deepen my relationship with God. During these tests, it’s important to recognize the enemy’s tactics: weakening your spiritual tenacity by making prayer feel burdensome or causing feelings of disconnection. However, this struggle is part of a greater process where God strengthens and molds your endurance. I encourage you to keep pressing forward in prayer, even when it doesn’t come easy. Share your experiences and support others in spiritual battles; together, endurance grows. Remember, daily declarations like “When Your Fire Feels Low” serve as powerful reminders that these moments are transient and purposeful. By embracing the testing rather than resisting it, you allow your faith to mature and your spiritual strength to increase. Engage with communities focused on prayer and spiritual strength for encouragement, and hold onto the truth that struggle today builds the endurance you need for tomorrow.
