Skincare from Aldi’s?! 💙
My local Aldi’s recently renovated and started selling toiletry products. I was running low on my “normal” cleanser? 🤨 I saw this at the store and saw it was like $4.50?? And I decided why not 🩷
Disclaimer: I’m not a professional. Everything I’ve learned about skincare has been from my dermatologists,aestheticians, personal research, and product trial and error. My skin type is oily+acne prone, so I’m specifically looking for skincare for those needs. What works for me may not work for you and vice versa 🩷
I don’t think I can say this is either good or bad because this product is not meant for my skin. The consistency reminds me of the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser which I don’t like for the same reasons.The consistency is not as sticky because I believe it is water based. It has a milky white appearance and leaves a film over your skin. Maybe it’s not a skin texture issue, and it’s more of a sensory issue for me 🤷🏻♀️I believe because of my skin type I have to use several extra pumps to make my skin feel clean. Not because I feel like it’s a bad product, it’s just not for my skin 💔 However, I’m very allergic to animal dander and I finished dog sitting. My eyes were so irritated and I needed to wash my face. My other cleansers are very harsh and I didn’t want to make my skin more angry. I used this cleanser and it did what I needed it to do 🫡🤷🏻♀️🪩
So for the hot girls who have very sensitive dry skin this may be a great dupe for you! Both are a creamy, low-foam texture meant for normal to dry skin. It is also fragrance free! Per my research Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser is still a better product because of the ingredients such as niacinamide, panthenol, and pantolatone. But at the end of the day they essentially the same thing, but Lacura is much cheaper!
