PASSED MY GACE ON THE FIRST TRY

1 more class then im officially going to be a teacher 💙

6/30 Edited to

... Read morePassing the GACE Elementary Education exam on the first try was a huge milestone in my teaching journey, and I want to share what worked for me. One key factor was consistent study and breaking down the exam content into manageable sections. The exam consists of 5 testlets covering various topics, and I made sure to cover each comprehensively, focusing on areas where I felt less confident. I earned 227 points, surpassing the minimum requirement of 220 points, which really boosted my confidence. Using practice tests and assessment tools helped me track my progress, identify weaknesses, and stay motivated as I could see improvement over time. I also joined study groups where discussing concepts with peers made learning more engaging and less isolating. Another important aspect was scheduling study sessions early and sticking to them, which eliminated last-minute cramming. Balancing my final class preparations with review time required discipline but was rewarding. If you’re preparing for the GACE, my advice is to stay organized, use multiple resources, and believe in your ability to succeed. With persistence and the right approach, passing on your first try is definitely achievable! One final note: after passing, I am just one class away from officially becoming a teacher, which makes all the effort worthwhile. Stay positive and focused—you can do it too!
