When I say 'God-fearing,' it’s not about being scared, but rather holding a deep reverence and respect for God, acknowledging His power and love in every aspect of my life. This weekend, like many, was a beautiful reminder of how these values shape our everyday moments, turning even the mundane into something meaningful. My Saturday started with a quiet devotional, diving into 'Upon Waking' alongside a warm coffee and a healthy breakfast. Those moments of stillness, even before the bustle of the day, feel like mini 'conversations with God.' It’s where I get to reflect on His messages and set an intentional tone for the hours ahead. Later, visiting family, I found myself sipping an iced matcha while reading 'The Awe of God,' another wonderful book that deepened my understanding of His majesty. These small pockets of spiritual reflection truly recharge my soul. Sunday was, as always, a cornerstone of my weekend. Attending church and listening to a sermon about 'Divine Notification' really struck a chord. The pastor spoke about how easily we get caught up in distractions, making it hard to hear God’s guidance and prioritize what truly matters. It made me think about that powerful verse, Romans 8:28 (ESV): 'And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.' It's such a comforting reminder that even in life's twists and turns, God has a plan. Beyond personal devotion, sharing these experiences with fellow believers is what truly enriches my Christian lifestyle. Whether it’s through online groups or simply chatting with 'god-fearing friends' after church, there's a unique comfort in knowing we're all on a similar journey. It’s not just about what we do during the weekend, but how we nurture our spirit and connect with our community. I often find myself reflecting on 'messages about God' shared during these interactions, which always offer a fresh perspective. So, when I ask 'How was your weekend?', I'm genuinely curious about how God manifested in your moments, big or small. What books are you reading? What insights did you gain from a sermon? Did you share a meaningful 'thought about God' with a loved one? Let’s keep these 'conversations with God' going, not just in our hearts, but also within this supportive community of 'women of God' and all who seek to live a life honoring Him.
