Anyone else trying to be a Proverbs 31 wife?
We got down clothes in strength ,energetic and strong Laughs without fear of the future
Haven’t planted a vineyard but I love plants 🌱 and have a couple 🥴 still working on awake before the sun is up 😭.. all jokes aside love having this verse in mind very difficult to achieve but we are trying.
A Wife of Noble Character

She is more precious than rubies.
11 Her husband can trust her,
and she will greatly enrich his life.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She finds wool and flax
and busily spins it.
14 She is like a merchant’s ship,

15 She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household
and plan the day’s work for her servant girls.
16 She goes to inspect a field and buys it;
with her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She is energetic and strong,
a hard worker.
18 She makes sure her dealings are profitable;
her lamp burns late into the night.
19 Her hands are busy spinning thread,
her fingers twisting fiber.
20 She extends a helping hand to the poor
and opens her arms to the needy.
21 She has no fear of winter for her household,
for everyone has warm[c] clothes.
22 She makes her own bedspreads.
She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns.
23 Her husband is well known at the city gates,
where he sits with the other civic leaders.
24 She makes belted linen garments
and sashes to sell to the merchants.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
26 When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.
27 She carefully watches everything in her household
and suffers nothing from laziness.
28 Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her:
29 “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,
but you surpass them all!”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
31 Reward her for all she has done.

Verse 25, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come," always stands out to me. For me, strength isn't just physical; it's mental and spiritual resilience. It's about standing firm in my faith, managing my household with intentionality, and facing life's uncertainties with a calm and trusting heart. Dignity comes from knowing my worth in God and carrying myself with grace, even when things are tough. It’s about building a solid foundation, not just for myself, but for my family, creating a sense of security and peace within our home. Then there's her wisdom and kindness, highlighted in verses 26-27: "She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness." This isn't about knowing all the answers, but about seeking God's guidance and choosing words that build up, not tear down. In our busy modern lives, taking a moment to think before speaking, or offering a gentle word of encouragement, can make all the difference. And being diligent about the "affairs of her household" for me means being present and engaged, whether it's with my children's schoolwork, managing finances, or simply creating a peaceful and orderly home environment. It’s about being a diligent steward of what God has entrusted to me, ensuring I’m not letting opportunities slip by due to laziness. The verses about finding wool, flax, and spinning might seem outdated, but the core message of diligence and provision resonates deeply. It's about using our talents and resources wisely, whether that's through a fulfilling career, managing household budgets effectively, or creating a nurturing space where our families can thrive. It's about being resourceful and contributing actively to the well-being and security of our families, ensuring we're prepared for whatever comes, just like she ensures "her lamp burns late into the night" (verse 18) – a timeless symbol of tireless effort and preparedness.
