Thank goodness North Carolina has a long growing season!! Sometimes farm growth means delays in other areas. Our garden is smaller than usual but very intentional. 😀 Peppers, okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash. The fruit trees are growing in pots until we decide where to make our orchard 😍 Big

We Struck Gold!

We ran an outdoor cat6 wire to our bus today. We now have high-speed internet off a wireless access point in our bus and around the homestead areas. Now we can livestream in the chicken coop or while we are planting stuff.

Our little chicken farm

Tried to Save the Tomato Plant

We wrapped the base of our huge tomato plant with packing foam and gave it a big pile of mulch to protect the roots. The freeze killed off most of the plant. really hoping that it went dormant and will spring back up in spring. #tomato #plant #garden #winter #homestead
