I went and got some books from St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store and Saver’s. I had more luck with SVDP with books I was actually interested in and that were reasonably priced. All of the books that I wanted to read at Saver’s were close to $6.00, at least, for a paperback (not even a hardcover). I
