Baby’s here…now what?👶✨

From my own journey, I learned that following a clear checklist can reduce stress and ensure everything is done timely. Firstly, registering your baby's birth certificate through the LifeSG app within 42 days is crucial. The app makes it surprisingly easy—just make sure you don't miss the deadline as it is legally required. Once registered, downloading the digital birth certificate is straightforward and handy for future appointments. One of the best pieces of advice I received was to discuss shared parental leave arrangements with my partner before the baby's arrival. The LifeSG app supports these arrangements seamlessly during the birth certificate registration. This preparation gave us both the opportunity for much-needed rest and bonding time. Applying for the Baby Bonus Scheme is another vital step. The convenience of using the LifeSG app for this means less paperwork and faster processing. Once approved, opening a Child Development Account or Child Savings Account enables you to receive and manage the bonus effectively. Regarding health, don't overlook the importance of newborn jaundice checks. Our hospital coordinated the initial screening and guided us on subsequent polyclinic appointments. Staying on top of these ensures early detection and treatment if needed. Lastly, capturing those precious early moments with a newborn photoshoot was a highlight. Scheduling it within the first few days takes advantage of the baby's deep sleep, making poses easier and the session smoother. Remember, while these steps are essential, every family's experience might differ slightly. Trust your instincts, seek support when needed, and take each day as it comes. Being organized helped me feel more confident navigating those first few weeks with my newborn.

Girls, Here’s What to Say Instead of Ghosting 👻
[Couple Cafe] I personally don’t think there’s ever a non-painful way to turn someone down, but being transparent is always more noble than straight-out ghosting 💀 IMO, the only way to justify ghosting is if you’ve made your intentions clear and have set boundaries, but the other person stil
