how to turn your day around!✨
I way too often find myself waking up late in the day or bed rotting until midday and I’ll beat myself up for wasting my day and then waste the rest of it too. but we are human and need rest and relaxation, it is nothing to beat yourself up for!!
it’s a good reminder to have that you can still have a nice, productive day, even when you feel you’ve “wasted” it. here is a little schedule I like to follow that maybe some of you can go off of :)) obviously the times can be adjusted and one can stretch this out til midnight or whenever, add in running errands or other things. I hope this helps some people out who have also struggled with this like me💛

Finding yourself waking up late and feeling that your day is already wasted can be draining. However, it’s important to remember that everyone goes through phases of inactivity or sluggishness. The goal isn’t to beat yourself up, but to gently guide your day towards productivity, irrespective of when it begins. Here’s a detailed schedule you might consider adapting: *3 PM:* Get out of bed! Even if you’re frustrated with the time, making your bed and opening the blinds can help shift your mood. *3:30 PM - 4:30 PM:* It’s time for a change. Wash your face, change your clothes, and prepare a meal away from your bedroom to create a refreshing atmosphere. *4:30 PM - 5 PM:* Take a short walk or jog. Appreciate nature, soak in some sunlight, or spend time with pets if you have them. *5 PM - 6:30 PM:* Reward yourself for getting outside. Delve into some internet time—watch your favorite shows, enjoy creative hobbies like coloring or writing. *6:30 PM - 7:30 PM:* Have dinner away from your bedroom, creating a separation between rest and meals. *7:30 PM - 8:30 PM:* Engage in self-care—shower, complete your skincare routine, and wind down with a calming cup of sleepy tea. *8:30 PM - 9:30 PM:* Allow yourself some screen time in bed but set a limit—an hour for scrolling. *9:30 PM onwards:* As your day concludes, indulge in a show or read a book. Transition into sleep mode without screens, facilitating a restful night. Ultimately, remember that every day can carry value, even if it doesn’t begin as you hoped. Be kind to yourself and embrace the day ahead with positivity!
