trying the ONLY blue-arched Mcdonalds!🩵
this McDonald’s in Sedona, Arizona is the ONLY McDonalds in the world that has teal blue arches! when Mcdonalds applied for a permit to build a spot in Sedona, they agreed as long as the building would fit in with the surrounding landscape and buildings, hence the red building and blue teal arch! the food is all the same of course, but still cool!!🩵
My trip to Sedona, Arizona, was full of surprises, but one of the biggest was definitely stumbling upon this incredible McDonald's! Like many of you, I'd heard whispers about the 'blue arch McDonald's,' but seeing it in person was something else entirely. I mean, who would've thought a fast-food joint could become a tourist attraction? What I found out was that Sedona has really strict building codes, especially when it comes to preserving its natural beauty. When McDonald's wanted to build here, they had to agree to design a restaurant that blended seamlessly with the famous red rock landscape. That's why you see the striking red-orange building and, of course, those iconic teal blue arches instead of the usual golden ones. It's truly a testament to how local regulations can inspire unique architectural gems! I even spotted an American flag proudly displayed on the exterior, adding to the local charm. The unique drive-thru sign with its blue arches also stands out against the stunning Sedona backdrop. Beyond the exterior, I was curious if anything else was different. While the menu itself is standard McDonald's fare – yes, my beloved fries and nuggets tasted exactly the same! – I was delighted to find that even some of the packaging had a local twist. My drinks came in cups with blue logos, and I heard they sometimes have blue burger boxes too, which is such a fun touch for collectors or just for a unique photo op. It really makes the visit feel a bit more special than your average fast-food stop. If you're planning your own visit to this iconic location, I highly recommend going during the day to truly appreciate the contrast of the teal arches against the bright Sedona sky and the vibrant red rocks. It's a fantastic spot for a quick photo op, so make sure your phone is charged! Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during peak tourist season, so try to go early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. Inside, I even noticed signs promoting McDonald's merchandise on their website, like hats and mugs – a perfect, quirky souvenir to remember your visit! This particular McDonald's really highlights how global brands can adapt to local environments. It’s more than just a place for a quick meal; it's a unique piece of Sedona’s commitment to maintaining its aesthetic. After grabbing a bite, you're perfectly positioned to explore more of what Sedona has to offer, from its famous vortexes and hiking trails to charming art galleries. It was such a memorable stop on my Arizona adventure, proving that sometimes, the most unexpected places can offer the most unique travel stories. Definitely add this blue-arched wonder to your Sedona itinerary!

I didn’t even know there was a blue arch McDonald’s. I have never been to Sedona, but heard it’s absolutely beautiful. Even the McDonald’s looks beautiful. I hope one day I make it out there.
