Tips for making your workout split for beginners!
I got this question so I wanted to go into a little more depth on how to create the best workout split for yourself!
-Don’t be afraid to experiment! See what you like. What works for your favorite fitness influencer might not be what you like. I would stick to a workout split for at least 1-2 weeks before deciding if it works for you and you like it.
-Do what works best for your schedule! Just because someone else is doing 4-5x a week doesnt mean you have to. Figure out the days you can definitely commit to the gym without overwhelming yourself. You can always increase those days later on when your schedule allows. I recommend at least 2x a week and work up to 4-5x/wk when you can consistently do that.
I’ve attached some examples of different workout splits that I either use personally and use for my clients. This is all up to you! Ultimately it’s about finding something that you enjoy and will stick to!
