Corruption and crime cases that shook both the construction and khaki circles went to court intensely when the prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor's Office for Corruption Action 1 filed a lawsuit against Mr. Pradesh Mon, or "Birdman," with a total of 21 cases against the Central Corruption and Misconduct Criminal Court in the case of Hua bidding for more than 1,500 state projects worth billions of dollars in damages.
The filing came on January 8, 2026, with the prosecution as the plaintiffs indicting the National Park Construction Co., Ltd. and a total of 21 individual defendants, on offences under the Offences of Bids against State Authorities Act 1999 and the Criminal Code.

In the indictment, the prosecution stated the defendant's behavior that, together, it agreed to determine the outcome of the bid, so that the company or a pre-determined person would win, discourage fair competition, use the means to persuade, intimidate, or motivate other contractors to withdraw, including that any property and other benefits be given, accepted, or accepted, in exchange for locking up the outcome of the bid.
The situation has been ongoing, from 2012 to 2023, encompassing the construction projects of numerous government agencies, particularly in the Nakhon Pathom and neighbouring provinces areas.

Justice sources revealed that in the criminal parlance related to the death of Col. The branching case isn't over yet.
In addition to the Hua Auction case filed by prosecutors, there are other cases involving the network of Nan Nok, under investigation and further expansion, with several co-operating agencies, both the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Office of Investigation, the Attorney General's Office, and the Central Investigation Police Command (CIB).
The investigation covers additional state projects, financial trails, influential networks and people who may have contributed to corruption benefits.
The "Nan Nok" case is seen as one of the examples reflecting an informal power structure that clearly connects local politics, construction businesses, and influence over government officials and is a key test of Thai justice in dealing with a truly structural corruption network.
