The latest move comes from the "B Bang Kong" page of a well-known sports columnist who came out to update the situation that JAS is highly likely to win the deal after its arch-rival True decided to step back from the competition, leaving only a final price summary before the official launch, which could happen as early as June 5.
Previously, JAS has been constantly watched as a favorite. It has been estimated that the 2026 World Cup for Thailand should be around 700 million baht. The World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026, with three co-host countries: the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The news surge also noticeably affected investor confidence in the stock exchange, with the price of JAS shares in morning trading on June 4, 2026 rising nearly 5% on investor speculation expecting the company to be able to successfully close the World Cup copyright deal.
