จากประสบการณ์ของผม การทำคลิปโดยไม่ต้องมี footage เยอะนั้น สามารถสร้างสรรค์งานได้หลากหลายกว่าเดิมมาก บางครั้งการมีคลิปวิดีโอเพียงไม่กี่วินาที หรือต้องพึ่งพารูปภาพและกราฟิกเคลื่อนไหว สามารถสร้างอารมณ์และความน่าสนใจได้ไม่แพ้การใช้ footage เยอะ ๆ เลยครับ เช่น การใช้ text ขยับตามจังหวะเพลง หรือการเปลี่ยนสีและโทนภาพตามบรรยากาศต่าง ๆ จะช่วยเพิ่มความมีชีวิตชีวาให้คลิป ผมชอบนำงานแนว scrapbook ที่ผสมผสานกับเทคนิค motion graphic มาทำคลิป เพราะนอกจากจะสวยงามแล้ว ยังสื่อสารความรู้สึกและเรื่องราวได้ชัดเจน โดยใช้โทนสี pastel หรือ retro collage ทำให้คลิปดูอบอุ่นและมีสไตล์เป็นของตัวเอง อีกสิ่งที่สำคัญคือเสียงพากย์และซาวด์เอฟเฟกต์ที่ช่วยเล่าเรื่องแทนภาพเคลื่อนไหวได้ดีมาก การใส่เสียงเล่าเรื่องประกอบกับการเคลื่อนไหวของ text หรือภาพนิ่งช่วยเพิ่มมิติของคลิปอย่างมาก ท้ายสุดแล้ว สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดของการทำคลิปไม่ได้อยู่ที่มี footage มากแค่ไหน แต่เป็นความรู้สึกที่อยากเล่าเรื่องและไอเดียในการสร้างสรรค์งาน คิดนอกกรอบและลองใช้เทคนิคที่เราชอบ อาจพบว่าคลิปที่ทำออกมานั้นมีเสน่ห์และแตกต่างอย่างที่เราไม่เคยคาดคิดมาก่อนเลยครับ
