Packing for back to school can be both exciting and a little overwhelming, right? I love seeing what everyone else brings, so I wanted to share some of my go-to items and why they make my school day better. It's all about making your backpack a functional, yet fun, extension of yourself! First off, choosing the right backpack is key. Mine is a super cute floral pattern, and I love adding personal touches like my Hello Kitty charm, a sweet bear charm, and that little bee pin. They just make it feel more 'me'! While the main goal is practicality, having a bag that makes you smile when you grab it is a huge bonus. Inside, organization is my secret weapon. For my front pocket, I always keep a small pink pouch (mine has cute lip prints!) for quick-grab items like my favorite lip gloss, a mini hand sanitizer, and maybe some hair ties. I also have a white drawstring bag with colorful cartoon characters for smaller loose items, so they don't get lost at the bottom. These little bags are lifesavers for keeping things tidy. Moving to the main compartment, that's where all the serious stuff lives! I have my notebooks and books ready for classes – I always try to pick ones with pretty covers, like my strawberry or floral patterned ones, to make studying a bit more enjoyable. Along with those, I pack my essential school supplies: a trusty ruler, white-out dispensers (because mistakes happen!), and a collection of erasers. I also use a white Sanrio drawstring bag to keep all my pens, pencils, and colorful sticky notes together. These clear pouches are perfect for seeing everything at a glance, no more rummaging! Beyond academics, I always make space for personal care items. It's so nice to feel fresh throughout the day! My pink makeup bag holds a small deodorant, a travel-sized perfume, and essentials like mascara and my Hello Kitty compact mirror for quick touch-ups. An eyelash curler and a glittery brush also come in handy. It’s not about doing a full face of makeup, but having a few items to feel put-together can boost confidence. Hydration is super important, especially during long school days. I always have a water bottle in one of my side pockets – mine is a pretty pink. I also love my Stanley-style tumbler filled with ice water or a refreshing drink. And for quick energy, a pink body spray is perfect for a little pick-me-up. Finally, I always try to squeeze in a good book for downtime. Balancing school work with a bit of personal reading is great for mental breaks.
