From my own experience, I've noticed that many people achieve external success yet feel deeply unsatisfied because their achievements don't align with what truly matters to them. Society often hands us pre-packed life scripts—go to college, get a stable job, buy a house—without encouraging us to ask what genuinely makes us happy. What helped me was taking a step back and reflecting on what my soul really desired rather than what others expected of me. It felt like my inner voice was constantly shouting, "Excuse me... I hate this!" as I followed a path designed by someone else. I started by listing activities and experiences that brought me joy, peace, or a sense of purpose. Then, I consciously shifted my focus and energy towards those things, even if it meant deviating from the conventional path. Building my life around my passions not only brought greater happiness but also a deeper sense of meaning and serenity. This journey is personal and sometimes challenging, but embracing it can transform your well-being. By rejecting the world's imposed definitions of success and tuning into your own heart, you create a life that truly belongs to you. Everyone deserves that unshakeable peace and love for their life. Remember, it’s never too late to reclaim your story and live authentically. Your soul’s happiness is worth prioritizing above all else.
