Punch and needle dragon Ball pillow

Learning a new craft or diving deeper into one you love is always an adventure, and my latest punch needle project is no exception! Once your design is traced and your fabric is drum-tight in its embroidery hoop, you can start punching! The key is to keep an even tension on your yarn and punch consistently. I usually start with the outlines, like the one on my Dragon Ball character, and then fill in the larger areas. Varying your loop height can add fantastic texture, making your pillow even more tactile and unique. After the punching is complete, turning your artwork into a functional pillow is the next step.
