Snapshots from the garden
#100bucketlistideas #growaplant Does it count if I’ve grown and maintained hundreds of plants over the years? I’m an avid gardener; I devour everything I can about the subject and then plan and test in my own garden for what works and what doesn’t. If it works, it gets incorporated into my overall growing techniques. If it doesn’t, I make a plan to tweak it and learn along the way.
I started out on patios, with smaller plants and then moved onto larger and more challenging projects, until finally I got a big ol’yard I can finally stretch my gardening legs in.
I’ll definitely post more pictures soon! ☺️☺️☺️#Lemon8Diary #shareyourthoughts #gardening #blackgirlmagic #Lemon8 #blackgardeners #unfiltered #embracevulnerability
Gardening is not just a hobby; it's a heartfelt passion that speaks volumes about commitment and creativity. Whether you're cultivating small plants on a patio or nurturing a sprawling garden, every experience teaches you something new. Incorporating a variety of techniques and learning from trial and error forms the backbone of successful gardening. As time progresses, what started as a few potted plants can transform into a flourishing garden filled with unique species. This journey isn’t without its challenges, but it's all part of the enriching experience that gardening offers. To enhance the beauty of your garden and ensure sustainability, consider creating a bucket list of garden projects you wish to undertake. Ideas might include growing your own herbs, establishing a butterfly garden, or cultivating native plants that thrive in your region. Embracing different elements like seasonal blooms can also add color and vibrancy, making each snapshot from your garden a cherished memory. Remember, gardening also fosters community. Connecting with local gardening groups or joining online discussions can open doors to new ideas and techniques. Whether through social media or community gardens, sharing your experiences enriches not just your skills but also promotes the beauty of gardening among others. Enjoy your journey as each snapshot captures little victories and the joy that comes with nurturing life in your garden.
