An Unexpected House Call From a Relative Who Was Already Dead

Late-night HDB corridors always feel creepy… but this was different.

An old voice called my name outside the door.

A voice I hadn’t heard since my grandmother’s funeral. 👁️

Then the knocking moved INSIDE the flat.

... Read moreLate at night, in the quiet solitude of an HDB corridor, every small sound can feel amplified and eerie. I never imagined that one night would turn into something chilling—a moment where the line between the living and the dead felt disturbingly blurred. At exactly 2:13 AM, as the clock struck with quiet inevitability, there was a gentle yet unmistakable knocking on my door. Looking through the peephole, my heart skipped a beat—it was my grandmothers voice calling my name. This was a voice I hadn’t heard since her passing just one month earlier. What made this experience more surreal was the subtle detail that the floor outside my door was wet, water seeping underneath, while a faint tapping continued not just outside, but then eerily inside my flat. I received a text from my mother that confirmed the baffling truth — the surveillance camera captured someone at the door, yet no one could be found when we checked. This strange, supernatural occurrence left me questioning the boundaries of reality and our connection to departed loved ones. From personal stories shared by others, such unexplained encounters often cause a blend of fear, nostalgia, and curiosity. They can be viewed as messages, warnings, or simply the lingering presence of souls unwilling to leave us. For me, this experience was a reminder to cherish every moment with family, living or deceased, and to remain open to the mysteries life sometimes presents. If you ever hear knocks when no one’s supposed to be there, trust your instincts and take a moment to reflect—it might just be a visit from beyond.
