Wat Thamikraj, a former royal monastery that used to be great in the early Ayutthaya period by Phraya Thamikraj (son of the honeysuckle God), was built.

This trip I kept important details and ways to pay respect to:

📍 1. The temple of the Buddha Sakon, facing north, is 12 meters long, a large bed with a lot of magic.

How to pay homage: A popular wish for "health and success" makes life as smooth as a peaceful sleep. Many people prefer to bring lotus flowers and walk around the temple for auspices.

📍 2. The head of the king (replica) This is an important landmark, a large bronze Buddha head with a water-spewing serpent in front.

How to pay homage: The worship of the royal head is believed to be "open wisdom" and a blessing for prestige. The holy water that has been conjured from the temple is also sprinkled for prestige.

📍 3. Sing siege pagoda (round pagoda) is a very rare art in Ayutthaya, with up to 52 stucco lion statues surrounded.

Details: These lions reflect the influence of Khom-Bayun art, like a stupa guardian. Walking around in detail, each lion will really see the intentions of the ancients.

📍 4. The Royal Temple (nine-room temple) is characterized by a large octagonal stucco pillar that still stands despite the roof disappearing over time. This is a beautiful and extremely magical picture.

💡 More tips: This temple is located near the temple of Phra Si Phet, but people will be much less, allowing us to concentrate on paying homage and taking pictures without being attached to people. It is recommended that late in the day, the light will hit the temple pillar, very beautiful!
