How do you start YOUR week?? Prepping and Planning
As we’re getting into the last week of November and ultimately finishing out the year. I want to make sure I’m going into #2025 with an effective yet healthy routine for starting my week.
So far my weekly starts have been on Sunday but I wonder if it should include the full weekend? Perhaps, family fun, maybe self care, and some business planning in the evening on Saturday and then personal planning, home reset (meal plan, cleaning, house prep for the week) on Sunday? How do you prep or plan for your week ahead? Routines? #letschat
I’ve been reading this book and this weeks’ word is #Rhythm . The passage mentions how we can sometimes set these grand (achievable) goals that might feel a bit daunting at times. Creating rhythms provides internal reminders to see the cadence or break up the lofty goal to instead have a continuous flow for improvement. Makes me think about the “walking to the beat of your own drum” saying.
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.

As we move into the final weeks of the year, it's the perfect time to refine your weekly routine for enhanced productivity and well-being. Starting your week on a positive note can make a significant impact on your overall success. Consider combining family time with personal planning sessions over the weekend. Engaging with loved ones on Saturdays can provide a refreshing break before getting into serious planning for the week ahead. Incorporating a self-care routine, like a relaxing morning with a good book or a short walk, can also set a positive rhythm. The concept of 'rhythm' mentioned in your readings highlights the importance of finding a manageable flow in our daily tasks. This could mean breaking down larger goals into smaller, achievable steps, reminiscent of the mantra of 'walking to the beat of your own drum'. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by ambitious targets, create sustainable habits that allow for flexibility. Additionally, utilizing tools like planners or apps can aid in organizing your priorities effectively. Outline your weekly meals, set cleaning schedules, and plan personal goals systematically. This structured approach not only brings order, but it also cultivates a sense of accomplishment as you tick off your tasks. Ultimately, embracing these rhythms can lead you to flourish and thrive in the upcoming weeks, as you set the foundation to finish this year strong.

Okay honestly on Sunday I don’t reset… Sunday is when I finish all the things that I needed to do from the week that just happened 😭 so really my reset is Monday but I don’t really do anything different. Just the same cycle
