FruitTray | Nkabit’s Events & Kitchen On IG

Every tray I make, my family gets a taste too, it’s our little tradition. Heaven saw the client pick this up on Christmas Day and immediately asked for one of our own. Thank goodness I had extra fruit on hand 🙈 From the oranges to the berries, this tray was pure color, joy, and love. No leftovers… just happy faces.

... Read moreCreating a stunning fruit tray is not just about arranging colorful fruits—it’s about crafting an experience that brings people together. From my own experience, using fresh, seasonal fruits like oranges, berries, and kiwi adds lively colors and a burst of flavor that everyone loves. When I prepare fruit trays for family events or holidays, I always ensure there’s a balance of sweet and tart fruits to cater to different taste preferences. It’s essential to use ripe but firm fruits so they hold up well on the tray and stay fresh longer. I’ve found that presentation makes a big difference too. Mixing various shapes and shades creates an inviting look. For example, slicing oranges into rounds and layering them with whole berries creates a beautiful contrast. Adding a few sprigs of mint or edible flowers can elevate the tray’s appeal and bring a fresh aroma. During festive seasons like Christmas, having extra fruit on hand is a lifesaver—often guests want seconds or a tray for themselves! This tradition of sharing not only satisfies cravings but also fosters connection around the table. No leftovers means the trays are always a hit and nothing goes to waste. If you’re planning to create your own fruit tray, consider personalizing it with family favorites or themed colors for the occasion. The joy and love infused into the tray become just as important as the taste, making every gathering memorable and meaningful.
