The local community theater that I perform at used to be an actual movie theater back in the 50’s.
During the holidays we select movies to share with the community for free, offering concessions. This year we decided to show Tim Burton’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas and I offered to get greened up once again. (Two years ago I played Shrek so the same makeup came crawling back.)
It was an awesome experience to become unhinged and play off the kids. A lot of the little ones were scared naturally, it’s much different having someone on screen and then seeing them “in the flesh”. But overall it was a great experience and got to take a lot of pictures.
