Mengikuti pengalaman Idul Adha di Kebumen memberikan kesan tersendiri, terutama saat ikut serta dalam distribusi daging kurban. Pagi yang cerah di lapangan masjid dipenuhi suasana ramai dan penuh semangat. Saya pernah melihat anak-anak muda, seperti remaja perempuan memakai jilbab dan remaja laki-laki dengan peci, yang mencoba membantu panitia membagikan daging kurban. Momen-momen kecil tapi menggelitik sering terjadi, seperti saat seorang pemuda mencoba memotong daging dengan pisau, tapi pisau itu malah terjatuh dan masuk ke dalam ember air. Kejadian ini menimbulkan gelak tawa dari orang-orang di sekitar. Ada juga kejadian lucu saat seekor sapi menjilati wajah pemuda itu ketika ia hendak selfie, yang membuat suasana menjadi semakin cair dan akrab. Selain kegiatan distribusi, tradisi lain yang tak kalah seru adalah menghadirkan makanan khas Idul Adha seperti sate yang dimasak dari daging kurban. Kadang, saat membawa nampan berisi sate, kita harus ekstra hati-hati agar tidak terjatuh karena ada kambing yang tampaknya ikut ambil bagian dengan menjilati tangan. Selain itu, interaksi alami dengan hewan kurban dalam setting lapangan terbuka memberikan warna tersendiri pada perayaan Idul Adha.
