Long vs Short nails
I looovveee my long nails ! I started doing my own nails around 2020 & I just started doing them longer & longer. I’ve noticed that when I go places or even parents at my job will have something negative to say about them or make WILD assumptions about me & I don’t understand the big deal. Whether you like your nails short or long as long as you feel great about them is what matters.
I told my 8yr old niece people are sometimes rude or mean to me about my nails & she said “you better tell them to shut up because they’re cute I don’t even care.”😂😂😂

People are obsessed with controlling women, that’s all. Because it’s millions of things people do that are super unhygienic, but god forbid it be a trend that’s heavily associated with women, especially black or minority women, now people are disgusted. It gives micro aggression to me.
