Let’s talk about imposter syndrome!
I can admit I have really bad imposter syndrome.
Like sometimes when I’m at home and I’m looking at my stuff it just doesn’t feel real that I’ve really earned this or that I deserve it and it can be a really draining feeling.
I told my husband about it then I felt bad because I don’t want him to think that I think that way about him because I don’t but I just feel that way in a lot of aspects in my life like sometimes.
Growing up, my childhood felt chaotic. I was privileged in certain area but also a lot of things going on at home. Now for the first time in my life I have a peaceful environment that I’ve helped create and now that I have it, sometimes it feels like I’ve stepped into someone else’s life.
I catch myself thinking: Do I deserve this or did I earn this ? Or just get lucky?
I try to remind myself I do deserve peace. I did earn this peace.
And maybe you need this reminder too: peace isn’t an accident. It’s not just luck. It’s the result of healing, choices, and growth.
🌿 Grounding reminders & mindset shifts if you feel the same way:
✨ Pause and name 3 choices you’ve made that brought you here.
✨When self-doubt creeps in, replace “I got lucky” with “I created this.”
✨Let peace feel strange to you.
✨Keep a little “proof list” — write down moments that show your growth, so you can return to it when imposter thoughts show up.
I have an amazing life. It’s mine and I earned it. 🫶🏾
Your life is yours. You did earn it. And you deserve every ounce of peace you’ve found. 🤍
