How do you manage ? ✨

I get embarrassed by literally everything.

Being in line for too long, speaking to a big group,

using my windshield wipers, even walking the wrong direction in public 😭

Sometimes I think it’s cause I’m so Gen Z — Im so aware of how people might be judging that I start judging myself first.

Social anxiety can be such a heavy thing to carry.

I hate starting at new places without my husband or sisters because I feel awkward and quiet.

Even at work, I’ll go silent sometimes because I’m nervous and half the time, I don’t even know why.

But my husband has helped me realize that

nobody is paying attention like I think they are.

And even if they are, who cares like that’s their business — not mine.

I’m finally ready to stop caring so much about what others might think and just live my life.

If I want to be awkward, shy, confident, silly— it’s all still me.

🌿 reminder:

You are not nearly as judged as you think you are.

You’re just human and being human is NOT embarrassing.

💬 Do you deal with social anxiety too? What helps you care less about what others think?

I always remind myself everybody has a million things in their life going on, so I know damn well even if I do something embarrassing- it’s not like they’re gonna remember it cause I’m not that important 😂😂

The way I cope is knowing that if I stay true to myself then I’ll build the community I want around. Even if/when I start getting people that are hateful I can either ignore them or just be kind in return. Lots of people give up if they don’t get a reaction so just take a breath, it’ll be okay
