Maybe I don’t talk about everything I feel,
but Allah knows.
He knows the battles inside me,
the things I’ve lost, the things I’m trying to heal.
And that alone is enough to keep me going
Many of us face inner struggles that remain hidden from the world, but faith provides a profound source of comfort and resilience. In moments when I feel overwhelmed by what I’ve lost or the wounds I’m trying to heal, I turn to the remembrance of Allah, knowing that He is aware of every silent battle within me. This awareness alone fuels my perseverance and hope. One phrase that resonates deeply with me in times of hardship is the supplication: "لَّا إلَّهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ" (There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers). Repeating this daily is a form of spiritual cleansing and a humble admission of human imperfection, which helps lighten the weight of guilt and struggle. During challenging days, I find that openly acknowledging struggles, even if only in prayer, creates a pathway toward emotional healing. Sometimes I can't fully express my feelings to others, but I find solace in the knowledge that Allah sees and understands all—the battles no one else knows. Incorporating daily dhikr (remembrance of God) and sincere prayers has been vital in my healing journey. These practices not only uplift me but also provide a steady foundation for moving forward despite difficulties. Faith reminds me that setbacks are temporary and that patience paired with trust in Allah’s wisdom will lead to eventual peace. If you also find yourself carrying burdens in silence, remember that you are not alone. Turning inward to faith can be a powerful source of encouragement and strength. Sharing this journey with others in your community or seeking support through spiritual guidance can also help lighten the heart. Healing is a journey, and with faith as your compass, you can navigate it with hope and resilience.
